In this ever changing world, how true are those words?
Every society has feared change. The uncertainty of the future has brought anxiety to many. But change is the only consistent thing in our world that we have seen to prove itself, time and time again... Martin Luther, American Revolution, Civil Rights Movement, etc.
Without these revolutions, our world as we know it wouldn't exist.
If there is one thing I think we as disciples need to remember is that change is ok. Change isn't condoning certain behaviors that are 'unchristian" but it is accepting differences and having an underlying respect for those differences. Through those things we build relationships. And through relationships, we evolve into better things. Change is a good thing.
Allowing our minds to be challenged brings new growth. We need to evolve. We need a revolution.
