Colored jeans and lace are in. They have flooded department stores nationwide! Which is fine by me because I can't wear "blue" jeans at my job, but no one ever said I couldn't wear "colored" jeans! :) So my wardrobe now consists of just about every color jean in the rainbow! FYI: Walmart is a great place to buy them at a cheap price. And I have found that are just as good of quality.
And lace... one of the most elegant fabrics made. I don't think I have ever seen a lace I didn't like. :) The word automatically evokes images of a vintage wedding gown or your grandmother's handkerchief. As the sixteenth century lace maker, Frederico de Vinciolo said, "Lace- the invention of a goddess and the occupation of a queen." It is always so beautifully sculpted, and it can make any woman feel like a queen.
"I consider lace to be one of the prettiest
imitations ever made of the fantasy of nature; lace always evokes for me
those incomparable designs which the branches and leaves of trees embroider
across the sky, and I do not think that any invention of the human spirit
could have a more graceful or precise origin."
